How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed and shipped from central Minnesota typically within 2 days from ordering (except for around major holidays). Depending on the shipping method you select, your order may take anywhere form 2-7 business days to arrive after processing time (within the United States). Please note that we are not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the carrier, and may vary by destination and be affected by peak shipping periods.
For orders within the US, shipping method choices are ground advantage or priority mail...
• Packages shipped ground advantage typically take 3-5 days to reach their destination. For example, if a package is mailed on a Tuesday it would reach its destination most likely Thursday through Saturday.
• Packages shipped priority mail typically take 2 days to reach their destination. For example, if a package is mailed on a Tuesday it would reach its destination most likely on Thursday. Tracking is typically included. Insurance must be purchased separately if desired.
Do you offer international shipping?
Unfortunately, not any longer. It is difficult to keep up with all of the varying regulations worldwide. So, unfortunately, we have had to suspend our international shipping options.
Do you offer overnight or express shipping?
We apologize, however, we are unable to accommodate overnight/express shipping options. fort & field is located in a VERY small, rural Minnesota town. This means that last pickup for USPS and UPS is early afternoon (not a normal 5 or 6pm last pickup time like a normal city would have. Please email before you make your purchase if you are in a time crunch and we can discuss what methods we can take to get your package to you in the most expedited manner possible.
How much will it cost to ship my order?
Shipping charges are based on actual real time shipping quotes from USPS based on weight and destination. We do not charge handling fees. You can get an estimated shipping cost within your shopping cart. Occasionally the USPS real time system calculates a shipping rate higher than it should, especially for international orders. If there is an overage in the shipping amount charged than what the actual cost was by more than $1, a refund will be given back to the original form of payment.
What should I do if I have not received my order?
You can quickly check the status of your package by going to www.usps.com and entering in the tracking number provided to you. Unfortunately, the postal service does not always update tracking information timely. We have access to the same information visible to you so it is often by to contact the postal service directly. On occasion, packages are lost or stolen in transit. We cannot be liable for packages once they have been delivered to the carrier. If you have had issues in the past with lost or stolen packages, or don't have a very secure location for the carriers to leave your packages, please follow the tracking of your package as it makes its way to you and be present when it arrives as once the carrier delivers the package it is your responsibility.
What happens if I refuse the delivery, or I am not at home to accept the delivery?
Once the carrier has attempted to deliver the package multiple times and/or you refuse delivery they will send it back to the sender (fort & field) voiding the shipping label. We are happy to re-ship, but you will be responsible for re-ship charges.
I gave the wrong shipping address? Can I change it?
Please let us know of changes ASAP. After the package has left our facility, we will be unable to make any changes. If the package is returned by the carrier, we will be happy to re-ship to a new address, but you will be responsible for re-ship charges.
