How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders are typically processed and shipped from Atlanta, GA within 1 business day of purchase. Depending on the shipping method you select, your order may take anywhere form 2-7 business days to arrive after processing time (within the United States). Shipping to international destinations varies widely. Please note that we are not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the carrier, and may vary by destination and be affected by peak shipping periods.

For orders within the US, shipping method choices are first class mail or priority mail...
•    First class mail shipping is available ONLY for packages weighing 13 ounces or less.  Packages shipped first class typically take 3 days to reach their destination.  For example, if a package is mailed on a Tuesday it would reach its destination most likely on Friday. Tracking is typically included. Insurance must be purchased separately if desired.
•    Priority mail shipping is available for any package and MUST be used for packages weighing over 13 ounces.  Packages shipped priority mail typically take 2 days to reach their destination.  For example, if a package is mailed on a Tuesday it would reach its destination most likely on Thursday. Tracking is typically included. Insurance must be purchased separately if desired.

•    First class international shipping is available ONLY for packages weighing 13 ounces or less.  Packages shipped first class international typically take 2 weeks to reach their destination.
•    Priority mail shipping is available for any package and MUST be used for packages weighing over 13 ounces.  Packages shipped priority mail typically take 1 week to reach their destination. Tracking is included, however, only shows the status of the package while it is still in the US.

fort & field is not responsible for any international custom and duty fees, taxes, and/or brokerage fees assessed by the carrier. We are obligated to declare all items as merchandise, and will not mark items as gift. We cannot be liable for any delays due to packages held at customs.

Do you offer overnight or express shipping?

We apologize, however, we are unable to accommodate overnight or express shipping options.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Shipping charges are based on actual real time shipping quotes from USPS based on weight and destination. We do not charge handling fees. You can get an estimated shipping cost within your shopping cart. Occasionally the USPS real time system calculates a shipping rate higher than it should, especially for international orders. If there is an overage in the shipping amount charged than what the actual cost was by more than $1, a refund will be given back to the original form of payment.

What should I do if I have not received my order?

You can quickly check the status of your package by going to www.usps.com and entering in the tracking number provided to you. Unfortunately, the postal service does not always update tracking information timely. We have access to the same information visible to you so it is often by to contact the postal service directly. On occasion, packages are lost or stolen in transit. We cannot be liable for packages once they have been delivered to the carrier. Unless you have opted to insure these packages, we cannot be responsible for any refunds on lost or stolen packages.

What happens if I refuse the delivery, or I am not at home to accept the delivery?

Once the carrier has attempted to deliver the package multiple times and/or you refuse delivery they will send it back to the sender (fort & field) voiding the shipping label. We are happy to re-ship, but you will be responsible for re-ship charges.

I gave the wrong shipping address? Can I change it?

Please let us know of changes ASAP. After the package has left our facility, we will be unable to make any changes. If the package is returned by the carrier, we will be happy to re-ship to a new address, but you will be responsible for re-ship charges.
