These little natural fiber root brush scrubbers are handmade in Mexico by artisans from the roots of a grass called zacaton. They are great for cleaning root vegetables, cast iron pans, and any other surface that needs a little scouring! They are so much better for the environment than synthetic brushes as they are biodegradable and won't melt on hot surfaces. Plus, they look so beautiful on display by the sink! And, make the perfect gift for an eco loving friend!
Each brush varies slightly in size and color due to them being handmade. However, each measures approx. 5" high x 1 1/2" in diameter at the top x 2 1/2" in diameter at the base.
Use dry or with soap and water. After use, stand them up on the side of the sink to dry.
While these are super durable brushes, there will naturally be some breakage of the grass bristles during use. These can simply be washed away in the sink. Once your brush has finished its life, remove the wire and compost.
